Viewing a Strategy Map

The Strategy map is opened from O3 Scorecard Viewer.

Elements in the map (strategic objectives or indicators) are colored to reflect the status reached according to their last measurement. If an element in the map is selected, the scorecard focuses on the group or indicator associated to the selected element, becoming a form of drilling the scorecard from a higher level of abstraction.

To view a strategy map it is necessary to:

  1. Open the desired scorecard.
  2. Use the "Open Strategy Map" button in the lower part of the left pane. A new window containing the map associated to the scorecard is opened.

The desktop functionality provided by O3 Browser is of great help at the time of viewing the Strategy map and its associated scorecard. It may be interesting to organize the Container with the windows in "Column" layout; or to place the scorecard and the map in different containers. Then you may save the desktop to retrieve it every time we need to check the information.
