Viewing the list of Groups

The Groups page is also laid out in a similar way to the one of Users and Roles, and displays the following functionalities:  

  • Options of finding and filtering.
    It lets you find groups, or filter the list of already created groups for those that meet a given search pattern. 
    The Name field can be used to enter part of the name of the group. 
    Next, you must press "Search" 
  • New:
    It lets you create a new group. 
  • List of all existing groups. 
    The name and description of each group is displayed, and a button to edit them.
  • Button to update the pane.
  • Button to move backwards and forward in the list of groups, when it fills more than one page.
Creating a New Group


When you press this button, the group entering form is displayed. It has the following fields: 

  • Name: name of the group.
  • Description: description of the group 
  • 'Add User': It lets you associate users to this group.
  • 'Add Attribute': It lets you add attributes to the group. 

Please note this form enables 4 possibilities:

  • Save: It saves all the data entered in the fields of the form. 
  • Modify: If  you choose it in the list of groups, and open the form in the Edit Mode, this button will save the modifications made.  
  • Delete: It lets you remove the group (no confirmation requested).
  • Close: It closes the form and goes back to the Groups page.
