Scorecards and their corresponding strategy maps can be analyzed from the intranet or Internet, just by using an Internet browser.
The scorecard and strategy map are viewed within the environment of O3 Portal.
For this interaction scheme, it is necessary for the scorecard to have been generated in O3 Server to be viewed.
Opening the scorecard in the Web
To view a scorecard from an Internet browser you must do as follows:
- Run the Internet Browser.
- To view the scorecard, enter the URL
http://<server name>:<port>/o3portal
in the same way you do to access any other page. - Enter the username and password to access the server.
- Choose the scorecard you wish to analyze.
In step 2, <Server Name> is the name of the machine or IP address where O3 Server is executing and <port> is the port number for the web server. (The default port is 8080)
Drilling the scorecard in the Web
The elements that appear in the HTML interface are similar to those that appear in the O3 Scorecard Viewer desktop interface, both in aspect and in operation.
