Defining a Map

To start defining a map you should follow these steps:

  1. Edit the scorecard definition that contains the indicators you wish to include in the strategy map
  2. Use the corresponding button in the Toolbar to launch the Map Editor. Bear in mind that this button only appears in the Toolbar when the active window is that of the O3 Scorecard Editor.
  3. A new window containing the map is opened:
    • If this is the first time it has been launched, a new Map is created in the same location where the scorecard is, with the same name and the extension bsMap.
    • If the map had been created before, you may proceed to modify it.

After defining or making changes in the strategy map, it is necessary to save it from the map editor and then from the scorecard editor.
