Permissions for Plug-ins

It lets you configure permissions on O3 plug-ins, defined on the cubes published in the server.

As you may see in this image, on the left you have the list of existing roles and on the right:

  1. A combo with the list of cubes published in the server, where the cube for which plug-ins permissions are to be configured is selected.
  2. A table with a row for each plugin of the selected cube (in this case the "Detailed Sales" Query)
  3. Apply and Cancel buttons: To apply or cancel the changes made in the table.

Permissions are defined at the role level, that is, use of the different existing plug-ins for each cube will be allowed or denied for each role.

Please bear in mind that the default value of the permissions on all plug-ins is Denied.

The permissions table displays the following columns:

  • Cube: It determines the cube for which permissions for the associated plug-ins are defined. In the example, permissions are defined for the query (plug-in) "Detailed Sales" associated to the "Wines" cube.
  • Use: It lets you define if the use of the plug-in is enabled or not. The Denied value indicates the users in that role will not have access to the corresponding plug-in.
  • Use Profile: It is used in the case of queries ( O3 Query component) It indicates if profile restrictions apply to access the information of the cube.
  • Filter: It is used in the case of queries ( O3 Query component) . It indicates if users in the role can consult data by specifying values for the filters of the query.
