As mentioned in the previous topic, desktops are formed by containers or sections. Each container has an associated tab in the containers bar on the desktop which you can use to select it in order to activate it or display it and work in it.
There are two ways of creating a container:
- Dragging an existing window onto the containers bar. In order to do this, it is necessary to have previously opened the view you wish to include in the new container.
- Right-clicking on an existing container tab, and choosing the "Add Container" option.
In order to add a container to the desktop by dragging a window onto the containers bar do as follows:
- Open a new window or select an existing one. This will be incorporated to the new container.
- Drag the chosen window onto:
- the free area in the containers bar. The new container is named with the title of the window used to create it as default. You may change this name by modifying the container's configuration.
- an already existing container.
The arrangement of multiple windows in a container can be performed according to two different work modes. One in which windows are floating and another one in which they are arranged in columns, which is the default mode.
