Unknown macro: {scrollbar}

It lets you configure permissions on O3 views defined from the datamarts or cubes published in the server.

As you can see in this image, on the left you have the list of existing roles and on the right:

  1. A combo with the objects on which permissions are determined. In this case, O3 views.
  2. A table with a row for every possible action. In this case it is about defining which roles can perform the "save view" operation.
    You may define different permissions according to the different types of views.
    That is, for public views, shared with other users in the same role, or private to each user.
  3. Apply and Cancel Buttons: To apply or cancel the changes made to the table.

Permissions are defined at the role leve, that is, saving views will be allowed or denied for each role.

Please bear in mind that the default value for permission on views is Not Specified, and behaves like the "Allow" value.

The permissions table displays the following columns:

  • Views: It indicates actions to which permissions can be granted or denied.
  • Public: It lets you determine the permissions of the selected role on  Public views. Public views are shared by all roles.
  • Role: It lets you determine the permissions of the selected role on the views that are being shared with users in the same role.
  • Private: It lets you determine the permissions of the selected role on Private views. Private views are only visible by the user who created them.
