The configuration of this service is made in O3 Server Administrator, from the Properties Pane of the Profiler Service.
To access the Profiler Service Properties Pane, the Services | Profiler node must be selected in the O3 Server Administrator Tree.
The default settings for the Profiler service is "OFF", not generating log files neither for the O3 Server nor for the published cubes.
After enabling the server Profiler, the generation of log files for the cubes can be activated, and O3 Server files independently. Files are located in $INSTALL_DIR$/server/logs, where INSTALL_DIR is the parameter that states the setup directory.
The generation of information must be enabled or disabled for each cube published in O3 Server, and the place where the corresponding log file is to be saved. This is done from the "Profiler" tab in the property pane of each cube.
The information that is generated from the Profiler service is appended to each log file. It is the administrator's responsibility to delete irrelevant information from these files, or that one which could correspond to different profile periods.
This is vital if you are going to use the files to build analysis cubes, as these cubes are built using all available information in the files.
