The available options to define the "Aggregation Method" are:
* Worst Case
* Best Case
* Weights
* First
* Last
\\

h2. Worst Case

This method lets you reflect that the status of the indicator will be that of the worst calculated status for its elements. This method calculates the status in the following way:
* Red Color: If there is at least one element of the indicator colored Red.
* Yellow Color: If no elements of the indicator are colored Red and there is at least one element whose status is Yellow.
* Green Color: If all elements of the indicator are colored Green:

h2. Best Case

This method reflects the status of the indicator as the best calculated status for its elements. This method calculates the status in the following way:
* Green color: If there is at least one element of the indicator colored Green.
* Yellow Color: If there are no elements of the indicator colored Green and at there is at least one yellow element.
* Red Color: If all elements of the indicator are colored Red.

h2. First

The status of the indicator is defined by the status of the first element of the indicator's concept. This method makes sense when the indicator's concept is some categorization of time.

h2. Last

Contrary to the previous method, the status of the indicator is defined by the status of the last element of the indicator's concept. This method makes sense when the indicator's concept is some categorization of time.

h2. Weights

This method lets you define the degree of importance or incidence (weight) each element of the concept has on the indicator.

The degree of incidence is indicated by assigning weights (values) to the different fields of the indicator. To determine the status of the indicator all elements whose values take the same color are grouped and their weights are added. The status of the indicator will be the one corresponding to the group outweighing the others.

In the "Defining Weights" section of the pane, there is a table for entering weights for each field, which shows the following data:
* Name of the Indicator's Field
* Description of the Indicator's field
* Entered Weight for the field
* Percentage of the field weight over the total.

Only the values in the "Weights" column should be entered. The "Percentage" column is merely informative and shows the incidence of each element in the status of the indicator as a percentage.

If a filter has been chosen for the indicator, it is necessary to enter the weights of the elements for each value of the filter.

There may be statuses with the same weight, and in this case there should be a way to calculate the resulting status. That is why there is a field in the lower part of the pane that lets you choose the decision method, between "Worst Case", or "Best Case". If you choose the "Best Case" method the resulting status is always chosen as the one that most closely follows the guidelines set, in the following order: Green, Yellow and Red. Otherwise, the resulting status is determined the other way round.
