h3. Opening a Cube Model
Use the Open command to open an existing model.
# Choose "Open" from the "File" menu. The Open Cube Model dialog appears.
# If the model that you wish to open is stored locally, choose the correct folder and open the .mdl file.
# If the model that you wish to open is stored remotely in the *{_}O3 Server{_}*, choose _Remote Files_ and then select the correct .mdl file.

h3. Closing a Cube Model
To close a model in the design tree:
# Select the root of the tree corresponding to the model you want to close
# Choose the "Close" option from the "File" menu or from the toolbar.
If the model has been modified you will be prompted to save the changes.
h3. Creating a New Cube Model
Use the New Model command to create a new cube model.
# Choose the "New Model" option from the "File" menu or toolbar.
An empty model definition is added to the Design Tree.
# Complete the Name and Description tab in the Properties pane for the model.

h3. Saving a Cube Model
Use the Save or Save As command to save a cube model.
h4. To use the Save Command:
# Choose the "Save" option from the "File" menu.
If this is the first time you save the model, you will be prompted for a name and location.
Otherwise the model will just be saved in the already selected location.
# Indicate a name and location for the model
You can choose to save the model locally or in the *{_}O3 Server{_}* by choosing the _Remote Files_ icon on the left
# Click on the Save button to accept the command.
A message will be displayed if the file already exists allowing you to overwrite it or choose another name or location.

# Choose the "Save As" option from the "File" menu.
You will be prompted for a name and location.
# Indicate the name and location for the model.
You can choose to save the model locally or in the *{_}O3 Server{_}* by choosing the _Remote Files_ icon on the left
# Click on the Save button to accept the command.
