h2. Conexión a O3 Server
Para comenzar a utilizar *{_}O3 Server Administrator{_}* debe iniciar el componente y conectarse al O3 Server que requiere administrar. Para ello es necesario ingresar un nombre de usuario y contraseña, luego podra acceder a los diferentes componentes.
Para acceder a *{_}O3 Server Administrator{_}*:
# Inicie el componente *{_}O3 Server Administrator{_}*.
# Ingrese el hostname y el nombre interno del servidor en el Panel de Propiedades.
# Presione el botón Conectar.
# Ingrese su nombre de usuario y contraseña.
# Presione el botón Aceptar. El Árbol de Administración en el panel de la izquierda se actualizara con los servicios disponibles y una lista de los usuarios conectados actualmente.

Cuando se instala O3, se reconocen automáticamente dos nombres de usuario. Estos usuarios son:

h2. Componentes de O3 Server Administrator
En la interfaz de *{_}O3 Server Administrator{_}* tiene los siguientes componentes:
* La Barra de Menú y la Barra de Herramientas
* El Árbol de Administración
* El Panel de Propiedades
h3. La Barra de Menú y la Barra de Herramientas
La barra de menú se muestra en la parte superior de la pantalla. Los elementos del menú Archivo incluyen: Refrescar, Enviar Mensaje, Bajar Servidor, Cambiar Contraseña de Usuario 'system' y Salir. El menú de Ayuda incluye acceso a la Ayuda en línea, al Administrar Licencias y a la información Acerca de O3.
La Barra de Herramientas se encuentra debajo de la Barra de Menú. Proporciona accesos directos a las funciones y operaciones usadas con más frecuencia.
h3. El Árbol de Administración
Cuando se ingresa al O3 Server Administrator se muestra el Árbol de Administración en el panel izquierdo de la ventana
El árbol incluye dos ramas principales con:
* Servicios proporcionados por el O3 Server
* Información estadística

Nota
En el Árbol de Administración, se dispone de las facilidades ofrecidas por el menú desplegado con el botón derecho del ratón.

Las propiedades de los elementos seleccionados en el árbol aparecen sobre la derecha de la ventana.

Connection to O3 Server
In order to start using O3 Server Administrator the component must be started and and connection established to the O3 Server you wish to manage. To do so, it is necessary to enter a login and password. Then you will be able to access the different components.
To access O3 Server Administrator
- Start the O3 Server Administrator component.
- Enter the hostname and the internal name of the server in the Properties Pane.
- Press the Connect button.
- Enter your login and password.
- Press the OK button. The Administration tree in the pane on the left will be updated with the available services and a list of currently connected users.
When O3 is set up, two logins are automatically recognized. They are:

O3 Server Administrator Components
In the*O3 Server Administrator* interface, there are the following components:
- The Menu Bar and the Toolbar
- The Administration Tree
- The Properties Pane
The Menu Bar and the Toolbar
The menu bar is displayed in the top are of the screen. The elements included in the File menu are: Refresh, Send Message, Shut Down Server, Change 'system' User Password and Exit. The Help menu includes access to online Help, to Managing Licenses and to information about O3.
The Toolbar is below the Menu Bar. It provides shortcuts to the more frequently used functions and operations.
The Administration Tree
When you enter O3 Server Administrator, the Administration Tree is shown in the left pane of the window.
The tree has two main branches:
- Services provided by O3 Server
- Statistic information
Note
In the Administration Tree, you can count on the facilities offered in the right-click drop-down menu.
The Properties Pane
The properties of the selected elements in the tree appear to the right of the window.
