The Roles page is laid out in a similar way to the Users one, displaying the following functionalities: * Options of finding and filtering. It lets you find roles, or filter the list of already created roles in search of those who comply a given search pattern. The Name field can be used to enter part of the name of the role. Next, you have to press Search: * New It lets you create a new Role. * List of all saved roles. The name and description of each role are shown, and a button to edit them * Button to update the pane. * Button to move backwards and forward in the list of users, when it fills more than one page. \\ h5. Creating a New Role !O3Portal-Administration-NewRole.png|align=right,vspace=10,hspace=10! When you press New, the Role entering form opens with the following fields: * Name: Name of the Role * Description: description of the role. * Type: type of role. Simple/Parametric/Instance. * Role Base: * 'Add Actor': it lets you associate actors (users) to the role. * 'Add Attribute': it lets you assign attributes to the role. * 'Add Parameter': it lets you assign parameters to the role Please note that this form enables 4 possible options: * Save: It saves the data entered in the fields of the form. * Modify: If you select it in the list of roles, and open the form in the edit mode, this option will save the modifications made. * Delete: It lets you delete the role.
