Its web interface enables all users access information wherever they may be. You only need an internet connection (or intranet if you are within the organization) and a web browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox.
O3Portal se utiliza para explorar y analizar la información. Mediante su intuitiva interfaz gráfica permite consultar en distintos niveles de detalle y desde distintos ángulos toda la información.
Simplemente utilizando el ratón se puede seleccionar distintos elementos del panel de análisis, "llevar" los datos a los ejes de análisis (funcionalidad conocida como drag & drop), elegir la presentación gráfica más apropiada de acuerdo al tipo de análisis realizado, etc.
O3Portal es el componente que permite analizar la información de datamarts y vistas en un explorador web, sin necesidad de tener que instalar componentes locales en las máquinas de los usuarios.

Just my using the mouse you can select different elements from the analysis panel, "move" data to the analysis axes (a facility known as drag & drop), choose the most adequate graphic presentation according to the type of analysis performed, etc.
O3Portal is the component that lets you analyze the information of datamarts and views in a web browser, withough having to install local components in the users' machines.
This facility has two main advantages:
- It facilitates the high availability of information, as it is possible to analyze the information of datamarts and views from wherever you are. You just need a web browser,(Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.), una conexión a an Internet (desde fuera de la organización) y de un usuario con permisos adecuados para acceder a la información.
- Permite acceder a la información a nuevos usuarios de la organización rápidamente, por las mismas razones mencionadas.
Para acceder al O3Portal simplemente hay que abrir el navegador web e ingresar la dirección que el administrador del sistema haya asignado para la visualización de la información.
